COMMUNITY WORK PROGRAM
The Community Work Program (CWP) helps save the county money by helping maintain county facilities such as roadsides, properties, parks, and cemeteries. This program allows inmates to go out into the community with supervision to be a productive member of society. Inmate participation in the CWP program is voluntary and considered a privilege. Each inmate assigned will be subject to Jail Rules and Regulations while they participate in CWP. Inmates are subject to being returned to custody for violations of such rules, regulations, and laws. The Community Work Program was supervised in 2020 by Administrative Deputy James Jackson. The program normally has 1–2 participating inmates daily.
